When You Need Help Most

The Emergency Support Fund exists to help verified active members during genuine hardship.

✅ Eligible Cases

  • • Medical emergency support (urgent needs)
  • • Temporary housing crisis (eviction risk / short-term shelter)
  • • Food / basic needs support in sudden crisis
  • • Emergency travel support (exceptional cases)
  • • Safety crisis support (resources and referrals)

❌ Not Covered

  • • Routine monthly rent or long-term bills
  • • Personal debts/loans
  • • Fines/penalties caused by violations
  • • Non-emergency lifestyle expenses
  • • Any activity that violates laws or community rules

Fair Use

ESF Policy

  • Verification Required: Only verified active members (after 11-day activation) are eligible.
  • Proof Required: Submit proof documents (bill/notice/medical statement where possible).
  • Limited Fund: ESF is limited and may have caps per year.
  • Direct Payment: Support is given as direct payment to provider (preferred) or limited reimbursement with proof.
  • Misuse = Suspension: Misuse of the emergency fund leads to membership suspension.
