Emergency Support Fund (ESF)
When You Need Help Most
The Emergency Support Fund exists to help verified active members during genuine hardship.
✅ Eligible Cases
- • Medical emergency support (urgent needs)
- • Temporary housing crisis (eviction risk / short-term shelter)
- • Food / basic needs support in sudden crisis
- • Emergency travel support (exceptional cases)
- • Safety crisis support (resources and referrals)
❌ Not Covered
- • Routine monthly rent or long-term bills
- • Personal debts/loans
- • Fines/penalties caused by violations
- • Non-emergency lifestyle expenses
- • Any activity that violates laws or community rules

Fair Use
ESF Policy
- Verification Required: Only verified active members (after 11-day activation) are eligible.
- Proof Required: Submit proof documents (bill/notice/medical statement where possible).
- Limited Fund: ESF is limited and may have caps per year.
- Direct Payment: Support is given as direct payment to provider (preferred) or limited reimbursement with proof.
- Misuse = Suspension: Misuse of the emergency fund leads to membership suspension.
